How Settings → Legal opens OceanTree Privacy and Terms
A parent guide to Tomorrow Kid’s Settings → Legal—Privacy Policy and Terms of Service rows, the same Carepify URLs on the paywall, and how the journal pages hand off to the canonical policies.
What Settings → Legal is for
Tomorrow Kid keeps Privacy Policy and Terms of Service one tap away for grown-ups—without putting dense legal text in a child’s play path.
After the same parent math gate used for Sound, Language, and Storage, Settings → Legal opens two external rows: Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Both launch the canonical OceanTree pages hosted on Carepify. The OceanTree Pro paywall More path links to the same two documents, so subscription questions and trust questions share one source of truth.
This journal’s /privacy and /terms pages point at those same URLs so the website footer matches what parents see in-app.
How to open Legal on device
- Open Settings and pass the parent math gate
- Scroll to the Legal section
- Tap Privacy Policy or Terms of Service—each opens the Carepify OceanTree HTML page in the system browser
- Optionally open the same links from the Pro / paywall More area when reviewing a subscription
- On the Kidpify journal, use the footer Privacy and Terms links for the short orientation pages that hand off to those canonical documents
Nothing in Legal changes play, stars, or Kid Profile. It is a trust surface: read the policy, then return to Home.
A calm way to introduce it at home
- Pass the parent math gate yourself before inviting your child into Settings.
- Open Privacy once so you know progress stays device-local and where COPPA-minded commitments live.
- Glance at Terms so parental consent and acceptable-use expectations are clear before a longer play stretch.
- Bookmark the Carepify URLs if you prefer reading on a laptop; the in-app rows stay the everyday path.
- Pair this with Report a Problem when something feels wrong in content—Legal explains trust; Report sends feedback.
What to try next
After you’ve found Legal once, you know where OceanTree’s policy and terms live for the next question from another grown-up. When you are ready, open Tomorrow Kid, pass the Settings math gate, and open Legal—or start from the App Store listing and read Privacy / Terms on the journal first.
