What Stories is for

Tomorrow Kid’s Stories vertical is calm, illustrated read-along. The Home tile calls it “Read along with me”—the sky-blue bento on Home—so kids page through picture books with narration, optional comprehension, and stars that feel familiar from Quizzes.

Browse, listen, and finish

Browse a paginated grid of stories with cover photos, category chips, gold stars when a story is finished, and Pro locks when a title needs OceanTree Pro. Offline, the list falls back to stories already saved on the device.

Inside a story:

1. Page through illustrated parts with narration via StoryPlayer, and text that highlights as it is spoken
2. Resume later — progress remembers the part index and listen position
3. Download images and narration before play so a bedtime session can keep going offline
4. Optionally take a short post-story quiz (StoryQuizView) with recorded question audio or locale TTS
5. Finish a read or listen so completion stars land via ProgressStore.recordStory into the Sticker Book economy

Quiz score bands reuse the same star language parents already know from Quizzes, so the reward story stays consistent.

A calm way to introduce it at home

1. Open Stories from Home (the sky-blue tile).
2. Pick one free story with a cover your child likes.
3. Sit together for the first few pages—tap play, watch the highlight, then let them turn pages.
4. Finish the read (and the optional quiz if they want), then celebrate stars in the Sticker Book later.

What to try next

Keep Stories as the longer listen after Flashcards vocabulary warm-ups and Quizzes tap-to-answer checks. Rotate by category when you are ready, and treat Pro-locked titles as optional later unlocks—not tonight’s homework. Stars still feed the Sticker Book, so the reward language stays familiar while reading confidence grows page by page.
