How Fun traces come alive—and free Doodle stays no-fail

What Fun traces and Doodle are for

Tomorrow Kid’s Tracing home is not only Lines → Shapes → ABC. After a lesson, kids can open Fun—eleven “trace it and watch it come alive” scenes—or free Doodle! on blank paper. Fun pays off with animation, not a handwriting star card. Doodle has no corridor, no validation, and no stars—just draw, stamp, and optionally save.

Parent tip: treat Fun as a Friday treat after one Lines or Shapes glyph. Keep the lesson path as the spine; Fun and Doodle warm the pencil without replacing it.

Where they live

1. Open Tracing from Home
2. Scroll past the Next-up lesson card
3. Tap the Fun category for Balloon → Dinosaur scenes, or the Doodle! practice card (“Draw and stamp freely”)

The eleven Fun scenes

Each Fun trace speaks a short prompt, then celebrates with a payoff animation instead of the usual star card:

A collectible puzzle card on Tracing tracks how many Fun scenes the child has found (found / 11). Completing Fun does not replace Lines → Shapes → letters—it is the treat track.

Fun traces are pictures, not school handwriting: no ruling lines under the canvas. Difficulty still widens or thins the corridor when you set it in Settings; pencils never change that. For Auto / Easy / Medium / Hard, see the Tracing Difficulty settings guide.

Free Doodle!

Doodle! is blank paper with:

• Shared Tracing Pencil styles (same device preference as lesson play)
• Emoji sticker stamps: ⭐️ ❤️ 🌈 🦋 🌸 ☀️ 🐱 🚗
• Undo-friendly clear, optional parent SAVE to Photos
• Spoken nudge: “Draw anything you like!”

Nothing is recorded—no progress rows, nothing leaves the device unless a grown-up taps Save. Doodle earns no stars, so it never competes with the Sticker Book economy. Use it when a child needs a no-fail cool-down after a hard letter.

How Fun and Doodle differ from the lesson path

• Lesson path — Lines → Shapes → ABC → abc → 123 with Next-up and stars (main Tracing guide)
• Fun — eleven scenes; animation payoff; puzzle collectible; not a handwriting star card
• Doodle — free draw + stamps; no fail state; optional Photos save; privacy-first
• Pencils / Difficulty — shared chrome; neither feature replaces Settings → Tracing Difficulty

A calm way to introduce it at home

1. Finish one Lines or Shapes glyph on the lesson path together.
2. Open Fun and try Balloon or Fish—celebrate the come-alive payoff out loud.
3. Check the Fun puzzle card so found scenes feel like a collection, not a grade.
4. Open Doodle! once: pick Rainbow or Glitter, stamp a 🦋, and skip Save unless you want a keepsake.
5. Return to Next-up tomorrow so Fun stays a treat, not the whole week.

What to try next
